María Gertrudis Ramírez-Badal, was born in Managua, Nicaragua, grew up in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. She returned to Nicaragua where she graduated as an Attorney at Law from UNICA (Catholic University). After get married she moved to a paradise island in the Caribbean, where she currently lives with her husband and two kids. Her mother an intellectual woman, passed her passion for reading and writing to her daughter. At the age of seven she wrote her first poems and by the age twelve started to get involved in poetry seminars. She has taught Spanish for 18 years. Also involved in evangelism, teaching religion for 11 years. Now living in an English speaking country, is sharing her work originally written in her mother tongue, which she transcribed into English as well. She wants to help other mothers to raise bilingual kids and create RAISING BILINGUAL CHILDREN SERIES
